What is the Celebration Choir

The Celebration Choir is a group of worshipers who help to ignite and fuel worship of God at Fellowship! We began in 2004 under the direction of Dave Williamson. Each year of our existence has led to new growth in how we understand our calling as lead worshipers. We like to think of ourselves as a family with a calling. As much as we love to sing, we find that prayer and unity are actually even more important to our ministry than our voices. Each of us can carry a tune though, and we take time to rehearse and memorize songs to that we can be free to wholeheartedly worship our God. We want to be able to focus on Him, the object of our worship rather than have to focus on the form and method of our worship.

We each come from a different background and are on a worship journey. But when we come together and "lock arms" we've been amazed and delighted at what God has done in our midst. Far beyond singing on Thursday nights and worship services every three weeks or so, we are learning to care practically for each other, to reach out to our community, to forgive and embrace one another and to worship and live more honestly.

We're on a journey and are delighted for fellow-worshipers to join us.
