Spring 2012 Message Series

The Book of Judges is a record of one of the darkest times in Israel’s history. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes (Judges 17:6). Bent on a cycle of sin, Israel spiraled into degradation. Occasionally, the people cried out to God who sent a deliverer. These judges were “regional” leaders appointed for a time to deliver a tribal group(s) from oppression. For the believer, the Book of Judges reminds us how easily we join the culture and how poorly we remember God’s work. It also shows us how God uses flawed people for His purposes. Our study will teach us not to forget, and remind us that we serve One King.
